pinhole yay

hey,

so we worked on our pinhole projects today
and i got a print that i really like,
i will show you the negative print of this
then i will make this into an actual print to hand in
where the colours will be the exact opposite

planning for my still life today
starting writing my history tomorrow

hey,

school was alright today, learnt more about light room as well as
RAW capture, unfortunately RAW doesn't work on my computer
because i don't have photoshop so i wont be using much of that
on my laptop but i will mostly be using it for school

not much planned for tonight, reading a little

lost in a portrait

hey

so i went to miracle beach today, and i got a sweet photo
i used my dads 50mm lens that has an f stop of 1.4! that
is amazing haha im gonna use it for the next show i go to.

i plan on framing this photo in the frame that i used
within the photo, so you know, if you like it
you could buy it :P haha

not much else for today, probably just doing some
reading about Julia Margaret Cameron for my history project

Hey,

so it was one of my 1st times shooting a show with the pentax, it wasnt too bad, but i have to do
some studying on it before my next show for sure.
i saw subcity dwellers tonight in cumberland and they were pretty great
very ska, very nice haha

what a day

Hey,

today was alot of fun. met a really nice
hairdresser in cumberland, and saw some great art

also an old man told me he loved my toque(the spongebob one haha)
and told me i had a great smile, while giving me 20bucks

talk about luck!

so i was checking out the SUBROSA magazine that i was working
with a bit in the summer and they used my 2nd photo
for the cover.
i would love to share it with you guys,
and i will also put up the 1st cover shot too.

1st paid shoot!

hey,
so i did a shoot with my little pal Tyler today, and got paid 50 bucks for it, you know what that means, free groceries! yay.
went mountain biking last night, it was a blast, incredibly hard, but so fun. I would definitely like to do that again. For the rest of the day i will be taking photos with the bronica and getting my assignment done. then tomorrow i will be making a pin hole camera

Not what was expected

So went to the comox harbour today thinking i was going to take photos of leaves on the docks, because i was listening to a song about leaves and really wanted to take some shots of them, but it was too breezy. On the plus side though i got some great shots, and i have two photos today that i really like. I went to my instructors studio/house tonight for a pizza party, and it was by far the best house ive ever stepped foot in, i hope i can have a great place like that to live in one day.

So i went to mount washington today to see the mountain bike competition going on up there, and it made me really jealous. i wish i could do that stuff, great work guys, and two girls haha. Went and gave birthday wishes to auntie vee today and she gave me a pizza, it was awesome, back to school tomorrow.

hey all!

so, i did the fringe, but i dont feel like making anymore slideshows as those photographs are really not my best work, at all. Ive decided to take one photograph that inspires me a day, i need to do this for school and i need to do it for myself. Today i have chosen what i see from my balcony at night.
