Canoe Polo

Hey guys,

So I shot the 2008 World Canoe Polo Championships this weekend in Edmonton and I am now a published photographer :) I learned alot while i was shooting up there, for instance lighting and sources of lighting to get a better shot. I'm still working on my photo contest photos and i hopefully will be done soon and be able to post them. So here are my polo photos. Enjoy

Exciting!

Hey guys,

I almost forgot, I did cover photography for the magazine called SUBROSA, which is a Camrose based magazine. Im also doing photography for the fringe festival in august, & i have just bought a fish eye lens, I am really excited to try it out. This slide show has a bit more artistic photos, the photo that is the leg-less converse and the spray painted cloud are the photos i used for the cover of the magazine, the editor will choose which one makes the front cover. Hope you enjoy, oh and i will have my canoe polo photos as well as my photo contest photos up soon, Bob Brown the photographer at the championship told me he would give my photos to the international federation of canoe polo and i will be accredited for them on an international level, yay.

I have done ALOT of photography lately, as of right now i am currently doing photography for the 2008 world canoe polo championships in Edmonton, and am working on a photo contest for the city of Camrose. Two days of Battle of the Bands, Edmonton International Jazz Festival

Hey guys,

Ive come to realisation of something. I think that instead of adding all these photos of every single shot i took i will start to edit my photos and put slideshows of the photos that show off my photography the most. But i still have alot of photos to put on here for now, so i will start that off next time i go out and take some shots. Ive done alllloootttt of photography lately ive started taking my camera everywhere with me. I shot two days of the Battle of the Bands in Camrose (day 3 which is the final day is next friday) as well as my friend and i went to the Edmonton International Jazz Festival and took some more shots. I also have done some artistic photos but i will add another blog about that shortly.

Anyway here are the Battle of the Bands photos as well as the Jazz Festival photos for now.

The bike ride, Sailor's Blood, 40 Thieves

Hey guys

So I forgot about the random time that i went for a bike ride just a little bit outside of Camrose and took photos of a jerry can and some silos, so the photos are included with my photos of Sailor's Blood as well as 40 Thieves. The show was pretty good, although i hoped for better lighting, but what can ya do? Hopefully ill be out taking some photos tomorrow, i want to get some photos of the family too, i feel like i havent taken photos for a life time although its been 6 days :). I went to see City and Colour with black lungs and sleepercar last wednesday, and i noticed the lack of photographers at the show. I hope by photographing the Edmonton Folk Music Festival i can aquire some contacts that will potentially allow me to photograph great shows like the City and Colour show. For now i leave you with the photos of Sailor's Blood, 40 thieves, and my favorite jerry can.

Finally!

Hey guys sorry that I took so long getting the Of Angels and Mortys Snow Boots pictures up but here they are. Ive recently went to British Columbia to check out my photography school for next year and it looks great! I am potentially buying a Pentax K20D Monday or Tuesday, its a great camera with 14 mega pixels and should produce some great shots. For now I am just working on landscape photography and will post some new photos in about a week.
